Help Us Build a Permanent Home for the Bayfield Area Food Bank
It’s been a whirlwind few months, and we want to keep our Bayfield community up to date.
In early 2024, we learned the building we called home for many years was being sold. Despite early assurances that this was unlikely, the sale was finalized in February, and we were given two months to move out.
Thanks to the generosity of BFIT, we’re currently operating out of the Bayfield Arena until September 2025. But after an extensive search, one thing became clear: the best and most sustainable solution is to build a new, permanent home.
We’ve done the work—our plans are drawn, the vision is clear, and the need is urgent. We’re seeking to build a discreet, accessible, and welcoming space that can serve our community now and in the future. A place that offers stability, security, and compassion for anyone facing food insecurity.
